Summary
On December 9, 2016, Christine Owens testified before the U.S. House of Representatives, Education and Workforce Committee, Workforce Protections Subcommittee, in support of the Obama Administration’s regulatory record at the Department of Labor (USDOL) and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). Rather than question or undermine their actions, Congress should support USDOL and the EEOC, and where appropriate, as in the case of executive orders, codify these actions into legislation.
