On January 20, 2022, Rebecca Dixon testified before the New York State Department of Labor Farm Laborers Wage Board in support of lowering the overtime threshold for farmworkers to 40 hours per week. New York can and should transition its farm economy to a system that ends overwork and substandard pay by affording farmworkers the equal protection of the law.
