On March 5, 2020, Hugh Baran testified before the Connecticut General Assembly, Committee on Labor and Public Employees in support of H.B. No. 5381, which would allow workers to file civil actions in the name of the state to enforce their existing rights under Connecticut’s wage-and-hour, anti-discrimination, and sexual harassment laws.
