NELP’s Sarah Leberstein spoke at this year’s South by Southwest (SXSW) Conference on a panel entitled, “The Sharing Economy and the 21st Century Workforce,” where she discussed with panelists from industry and academia what on-demand companies’ employment practices mean for workers’ rights and what we can do to ensure that workers get their fair share in the “sharing economy.”
