State Fair-Chance Campaign Materials

To help support efforts to launch fair chance campaigns, we’ve compiled the campaign materials developed by the lead sponsors of California Assembly Bill 218, the “ban the box” bill that was enacted in 2013. This provides you an example of state “ban the box” campaign resources including a model letter of support for allies, a floor alert factsheet, voices of endorsers factsheet, a basic factsheet,legislative testimony from human resources personnel, and examples of letters of support from labor, law enforcement, human resources.
