Tell the NYS Legislature to pass the TEMP Act

With temperature on the rise due to climate change, workers in New York State are demanding protection from extreme heat in the workplace.

The TEMP Act would help workers deal with extreme heat by requiring employers in key industries, like agriculture, construction, and warehousing, to ensure workers have access to water, shade, and air conditioning. It would also require employers to create an extreme temperature plan and offer heat safety training to their employees.
