Emily Hirsch

Director of Institutional Giving

Emily Hirsch, NELP’s Director of Institutional Giving, joined NELP in 2023. Emily furthers NELP’s growth goals by developing and leading multi-year fundraising strategies to build relationships with existing and new philanthropic funders, and overseeing the work of the institutional giving team. Prior to this role, as Development Manager, Emily focused on grant writing and sustaining current funders.

Emily’s work is informed by her deep experience in institutional fundraising, relationship building, project management, and organizing. Before NELP, Emily managed foundation and government grants at Sanctuary for Families, where she was a leader in organization-wide racial equity and LGBTQ+ inclusion efforts, and a core union organizer.
