Rachel Nass joined NELP in October 2016 as a communications associate and writer, supporting NELP’s staff with a variety of writing, editing, and digital communications projects and serving as the communications representative to the NELP Work Quality team.
Rachel has previously worked as a writer and communications and marketing professional with the University of Delaware Office of Annual Giving and with a personal injury plaintiff and workers’ compensation claimant law firm in Newark, Delaware. She has drafted and edited pieces that appeared in a variety of publications, including the New York Times.
Rachel is a proud member of the NELP Staff Association, NOLSW, UAW, LOCAL 2320. She is committed to ensuring that NELP communications are thoughtful, forward-thinking, inclusive, and effective in their role in shaping a more just economy and world, and she would like to stress that Millenials are adults and the outer boroughs are part of New York City.
