Cassandra joined NELP as digital content specialist in 2022. In this role, she creates engaging social media and web content that builds community among workers across job sectors and uplifts NELP’s mission to correct the systemic inequities that remain embedded in U.S. workplace structures so all workers can have good jobs.
A digital native, Cassandra has an extensive background supporting nonprofit organizations’ communications efforts. Her work has focused on providing stakeholders with clear and accurate information on complex topics so they can participate as civic actors and advocate for social justice. She supported the communications team in creating graphics, social, and web copy to accompany the release of reports, publications, statements, and webinars. Prior to TAG, she supported fast-food worker organizing around fair workweek laws in New York City.
