PARTNER IN OUR VISION FOR WORKFORCE SOLIDARITY

Workforce Solidarity Means a Better Quality of Life for Everyone.

At National Employment Law Project, we work strategically to advocate for people in the workforce who are the most marginalized – low-wage workers, disproportionately women and workers of color, and those who are unemployed—while engaging all working people around our shared vision of justice and dignity in the workplace.

NELP engages in deep policy analysis and research to uncover the ways in which workers across many industries experience the imbalance of power, isolation, silencing, and unfair and unlivable wages and working conditions. Then, we work with partners on the local, state, and national levels to craft bold policy solutions that strengthen our communities and make a real difference in the lives of working people.

NELP is working to change a legal and political system that’s rigged in favor of the wealthy and powerful corporations at the expense of working people. NELP lawyers defend our rights on the job and build worker power through testimony before state governments and Congress, direct litigation and amicus briefs supporting major cases in the federal court system, and on-the-ground assistance to worker centers and grassroots organizations.

We build strategic partnerships with grassroots and national allies who share NELP’s vision of a just economy that respects and protects the freedom of workers to join together to achieve a fair and equitable standard of living from their labor. These partnerships are central to winning lasting change for all working people. We hope that you will join with NELP to amplify workers’ voices
