Kim Diehl is the deputy communications director for the National Employment Law Project and has applied her communications experience to advance human rights and southern worker organizing for more than 20 years.
Kim is a board member of Critical Resistance, a national organization dedicated to abolishing the prison industrial complex. She served as an editorial advisor for Convergence, an online space where left organizers can discuss strategy and share organizing models. Her writings have appeared in Color Lines and Southern Exposure magazines and Outsiders Within: Writing on Transracial Adoption (South End Press). Born and raised in Florida, she currently lives in Brooklyn, NY.
Kim is a proud member of the NELP Staff Association, NOLSW, UAW, LOCAL 2320.
